Hello soon to be former Mayor Costas,

I am absolutely appalled at the fact that you, the mayor of out town purposely and with malice, called in the Excise Police in order to wreak havoc at this years Popcorn Festival.

Please don't even try to deny you did it. I spoke with the Excise agent in charge as well as several members of Valpo PD. All gave the same report. Mayor Costas is behind it. By the way, most of VPD officers think YOU SUCK!

You seem to have lost track of the fact that, as Mayor, you are the representative of ALL the good citizens of Valparaiso, not just the "Chosen Few" who share your own warped vision of Christian morality. (and what's up about you owning that out of state bar anyway. Are non-Indiana types more moral even when drunk or does it just not apply to them?)

For all intents and purposes, you shut down out city festival for your own, personal selfish reasons. This is inexcusable. You screwed all the service profession people who depend upon the money they make on that day and deprived the rest of us the of the one day of the year when we can "Party in the Streets." Why? For your own self-aggrandizement.

We the people demand that you resign. Naturally, you are far too egotistical to do that on your own, so, we will be circulating petitions demanding your recall from office.
